Taos Pueblo
The multi-storied adobe buildings of the Taos Pueblo have been continuously inhabited for over 1000 years and stands as the largest surviving multistoried Pueblo structure in the United States. The Taos people engage in arts, traditional crafts, jewelry making and food concessions. The pueblo is open to the public year round with an admission fee.
The Taos Pueblo is approximately a one and a half hour drive from Inn of the Governors.
- Exit Right out of the Lobby onto West Alameda Street
- Turn Right onto Guadalupe Street
- Follow Guadalupe Street to Highway 285 Merge
- Follow Highway 285 for approximately 23 miles
- Turn onto Highway 68 and follow for 45 miles
- Highway 68 becomes Paseo del Pueblo Sur in Taos. Follow through the center of town.
- 1 mile from center of town, turn Right onto Veteran’s Highway and follow to end to Taos Pueblo.
