Canyon Road Christmas
Bundle up to be warmed as you walk along Historic Canyon Road during Christmas Eve. Canyon Road is home to many of Santa Fe’s finest galleries, and on Christmas Eve, the storefronts and walks are decorated with farolitos (bags aglow by candle light) and lights twinkling in the trees above.
As you stroll along the beautiful glowing road, be sure to stop and enjoy the many carolers, enjoy a hot cup of cider or hot chocolate along with a bizcochito. The holiday spirit keeps your heart and soul warm throughout the enjoyable and entertaining stroll. And don’t forget to stroll to the Santa Fe Plaza before or after Canyon Road to find an ice sculpture of Santa and his reindeer and enjoy the Plaza Christmas lights.
Canyon Road begins at Paseo de Peralta. The Canyon Road Christmas Eve farolito walk is approximately 2 miles along Canyon Road, and is within walking distance from the Inn of the Governors and the downtown Santa Fe Plaza. Spread joy to the world with locals and Santa Fe guests this Christmas Eve.
