Dixon Studio Tour
Held annually during the first weekend in November, Dixon Studio Tour is home to a lively group of more than 50 local artists who open their studio doors to the public. The artists represent many different mediums and types, from painting and sculpting to handmade chocolates, local wineries, music and photography.
Dixon Studio Tour has been an annual major art event since 1982. Nestled in the Embudo Valley, Dixon Studio Tour is a cooperative effort with each artist performing the jobs necessary to make the event a success. The Dixon Studio Tour helps to celebrate the life and serenity of Dixon, NM by attracting visitors from around the world every year. While touring the artists’ studios, feast on the traditional Northern New Mexico foods, seasonal vegetables and apple harvest grown in the picturesque village.
Dixon, NM is located 40 miles north of Downtown Santa Fe. The panoramic views available on the drive are worth the trip. Inn of the Governors guests can obtain more information and directions from staff at the front desk.
